Just two days after the bloody crime in a dance club in California, at least seven people were killed in a new gun attack in the US state, according to media reports.

There were attacks on two nearby farms in Half Moon Bay in northern California, reports said on Monday.

Seven people were killed in the process.

The Half Moon Bay police initially said only that there had been a "firearms incident with multiple victims".

At the same time, she emphasized on Twitter that a suspect had been arrested and that there was no further danger to the population.

A 72-year-old man of Asian descent opened fire on those present at a dance club in the greater Los Angeles area on Saturday evening.
