The American musician Lisa Marie Presley became a grandmother before she died.

The deceased's son-in-law, Ben Smith-Petersen, hinted at the memorial service at Graceland over the weekend that his wife, Presley's eldest daughter Riley Keough, had given birth to a child, unbeknownst to fans.

A rep for the couple confirmed Monday the birth of a daughter in 2022. Keough, one of two children from Presley's first marriage to guitarist Danny Keough, met Smith-Petersen in 2012 while filming the end-of-times film Mad Max: Fury Road “ met in his native Australia.

The thirty-three-year-old starred as Capable, one of Immortan Joe's wives.

Three years later, the actress married the stuntman.

Keough is the eldest of three granddaughters of the "King of Rock and Roll" Elvis Presley, who died in the summer of 1977 at Graceland in Memphis (Tennessee).

Her mother Lisa Marie Presley, who died unexpectedly two weeks ago at the age of 54 in Calabasas, California, was the music icon's only child.
