After the theft of millions from a money transport company in Stuttgart, the wanted suspect was arrested at Stuttgart Airport.

As the police and prosecutors announced, the 42-year-old was brought before a magistrate on Tuesday, who enforced the existing arrest warrant.

The woman had arrived at Stuttgart Airport on a plane from Montenegro on Monday evening.

Police officers had expected their arrival.

The alleged thief had previously contacted the investigators through her lawyer and announced that she wanted to turn herself in.

She was wanted by public manhunt and international arrest warrant.

The former employee of the money transport company is said to have taken advantage of her job and stole more than one million euros in October.

The investigation into the loot continued, said a police spokeswoman on Tuesday.

Nothing can be said about whereabouts.

The suspect was questioned on Tuesday.

The police initially did not provide any information about their statements.
