At 73, the singer lamented the radicalization of the movement creating "wider and wider borders" between men and women.

Five years after the advent of the MeToo movement, the question of the relationship between men and women is still topical.

Guest of host Eric Jean-Jean on Monday January 23 on RTL, Véronique Sanson gave her opinion on the question and discussed her relationship to feminism.

At 73, the singer says she is for feminism but regrets a certain radicalization of the movement. 

"You must not exaggerate"

"I think it's really very good, but you shouldn't exaggerate. Now, if a guy takes the elevator with a lady, he's not going to go up alone with her... So there are borders that are install, which are increasingly large", she believes.

The former wife of Pierre Palmade gives the example of the United States where, according to her, men "are super careful" not to get too close to women.

A vigilance which would have arrived in France and which "would prevent seduction".
