The honorary golden ram has been awarded since the 36th golden ram gala, which was broadcast in 2001. During tonight's edition of the gala, the prize went to the beloved Björn Gustafson, who couldn't help but joke in his acceptance speech.

- It's perfect to feel honored when it's about honor, Baggen and I thank you, he says.

Gustafson is perhaps primarily associated for his performance as the farmhand Alfred in "Emil in Lönneberga".

But he has also played Dynamit-Harry in the "Jönssonligan" films and the principal Jan Bertilsson in "Dubbelstötarna", "Dubbelsvindlarna" and "Studierektorns sista tid".

"Roat for several generations"

He receives the award for "long and faithful service in Swedish film", in the jury's justification:

"A soft, thoughtful and empathetic voice that has comforted and amused both children and adults for several generations".
