A national treasure-grade celadon plum bottle appeared in 'Genuine Luxury' and recorded the highest ever appraised value of 2.5 billion won.

In the KBS 1TV Lunar New Year special, 'TV Show Genuine Luxury', which aired on the 22nd, 'Celadon Engraved Lotus Flower Plum Bottles' appeared as a requested product.

The client introduced the requested product as "a collection of an elderly person in the family who is preparing a museum."

The commissioned product caught the eye with its large size of 44 cm and brilliant color, and was delicately engraved with colorful lotus flowers and abstract cloud patterns.

Kim Joon-young, a pottery appraiser, said, "The production year is estimated to be from the late 11th century to the mid-12th century." said.

The final appraised value of the requested product was 2.5 billion won, the highest price for a 'genuine luxury item'.

This is the same appraisal value as the 2.5 billion won recorded by Gosanja Kim Jeong-ho's 'Daedongyeojido Chaeksinyubon', featured in the 1000th episode of 'Genuine Masterpiece', and the highest appraisal price ever recorded for ceramics, which is 1.5 billion won.

It is the highest price in the history of 'Genuine Luxury', which first started broadcasting in 1995.

Regarding the commissioned product, Kim Joon-young said, "It is a high-quality work. It is elegant and beautiful to look at at a glance. It is very similar to National Treasure No. The lotus pattern is also similar, and compared to the two works, the level of production is perfect.

As a result of this appraisal, the client expressed his feelings, "It is said that it is a national treasure, so I think it should be more precious and kept well."
