Ruben Östlund lacked the resistance.

Which is completely in order because "Triangle of sadness" was the best Swedish film in 2022. It was, however, a tie between it and Tarik Saleh's "Boy from heaven" - which, however, could have received a few more rams.

The triangle has received a rather cool reception here at home, so this could be seen as a real revenge.

If you are now longing for one like this after a Gold Palm and a whole swarm of Gold Beetles.

It was also revenge

for Tarik Saleh after the gala in 2018 when both were multiple nominees, for "The square" and "The nile hilton incident" respectively - and then Tarik's film won the most (5), including Best Film, (Ruben 2).

Now it was the opposite.

If they keep the same production rate, they will meet here again in five years.

The prestige effort "Burn all my letters" had a total of six nominations, but received no rams.

But then it was also stiff and slightly museum-like.

I was rather surprised that it received so many nominations.

The best award went to

"Black Crab", which received 100 percent of its nominations, three out of three.

Which means that Netflix has entered the fine room, and you can thank covid for that.

Streamed movies are allowed in the Bagge race since 2020.

You can also state that you don't need to go to acting school to win a Guldbagge for acting.

Naturalism and amateur acting still rule, which probably made all the trained actors in the salon - once again - clench their fists in their trouser pockets.
