The funeral of the late actor Yoon Jung-hee will be held in Paris, France on the 30th.



The funeral will be held privately on the 30th at a cathedral near Paris, France, attended by family members and acquaintances.

Domestic filmmakers wanted to arrange a place to mourn the deceased in Korea, but it is known that the bereaved family did not want it.

It seems that there will be no separate mourning event, let alone the installation of an incense burner in Korea.



Yoon Jung-hee passed away on the 19th (local time) in Paris, France.

He is 79 years old.

His deceased had been fighting Alzheimer's for 10 years.



Husband Paik Kun-woo sent an e-mail titled 'Actress Jeong-hee Yoon Seonjong' that day, saying, "My wife, actress Jeong-hee Yoon, who has been loved by the public for a long time, listened to her daughter (Baek) Jin-hee's violin at 5:00 pm on the 19th as if dreaming. He passed away with a comfortable face."

He added, "According to the wishes of Jinhee's mother, her funeral will be held quietly in Paris with her family."

Her daughter, Baek Jin-hee, is a violinist.



Her 1944-born counterpart, Yoon Jeong-hee, debuted in the 1967 film 'Youth Theater'.

Along with Moon Hee and Nam Jeong-im, who were active at the same time, she opened the era of female film actress troika.

In 1973, he went to study in France and received a master's degree in art from Paris 3 University.

In 1976, she married pianist Paik Kun-woo and gave birth to her daughter, and she has lived in France ever since.



She took a 16-year hiatus from her acting career after appearing in the 1994 film 'Manmubang' and then returned to acting in the 2010 film 'Poetry'.

For this work, she won the Grand Bell Award, Blue Dragon Award, Asia Pacific Screen Awards for Best Actress, and she even received the LA Critics Association Award for Best Actress, one of the four major American critics association awards.



Jung-hee Yoon, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia in 2017, has been living in Paris, France with her husband, pianist Kun-woo Paik, and her daughter Jin-hee Paik.
