After 40 years of career, Madonna is back on stage for an international tour, entitled "Celebration Tour".

The singer will notably pass through Paris for three dates next November.

For Catherine Schwaab, editor-in-chief of "Paris Match", the artist has managed to reinvent herself and attract new generations.

Madonna is back on stage.

After 40 years of career and 13 albums, the singer is preparing her "Celebration Tour", a tour of North America and Europe.

The star will notably be in London, but also at the Accor Arena in Paris on November 12, 13 and 19.

A news which made the happiness of the fans, in spite of a controversy around the price of the tickets, considered to be excessive.

This did not prevent the singer from selling the majority of places in a few minutes.

"Madonna is a phoenix that always rises from the ashes"

But who is Madonna in 2023, and above all, does she manage to attract a younger audience?

For Catherine Schwaab, editor-in-chief at Paris Match, this is the case because "Madonna is a phoenix who always rises from her ashes in a different way. What is certain is that she is a provocateur, but a woman lucid, free, scandalous, an extraordinarily gifted artist, very talented. She manages to create melodies that impress, to have the right people around her and to launch trends as well", she explains.

Especially since the singer represents "the American dream", including for the younger generations.

"She catches the youth. There will certainly be people of her age at her concert, but also their children or grandchildren, otherwise the places would not have been sold like that", continues Catherine Schwaab.

Because the star also completely masters social networks.

"When you go to her accounts, there are always new surprises. She shows her cosmetic surgeries, her boyfriend... But in view of her tour, she has completely cleaned up her Instagram, all that remains is the cards of the concert, as if she wanted to reappear as an artist and nothing else", concludes the editor-in-chief of Paris-Match.
