To be even more effective, scammers sometimes manage to imitate the bank's telephone number using specific software.

A fraudulent call center has also recently been dismantled by Europol.

All banks are affected by the phenomenon and in most cases refuse to reimburse the victim.

Caution is therefore all the more appropriate.
