In 2013, Zeng Chongxin and his wife opened a coffee shop called "Fisherman's Wharf" in the Buddha Statue Exhibition Hall near Putian Dongzhen Reservoir.
The following year, due to the expiry of the venue contract, the coffee shop moved to the current location and reopened.
"At that time, every household was still burning firewood stoves, and every household's chimneys would rise up with smoke when it was time for meals." Zeng Chongxin told reporters what he saw when he came to Songfeng Village to find a new venue.
As a result, they decided to open a coffee shop here, and named the shop "Jian Yi Cooking Smoke".
"Seeing Yicooking Smoke" coffee living center is only about 15 minutes' drive from downtown Putian, and many families along the road have been relocated.
However, Zeng Chongxin and his wife insisted on starting their business here with the idea of bringing Taiwanese catering culture to Putian.
"In the beginning, the road to entrepreneurship was difficult, but with hard work and innovation, it gradually grew steadily." In 2018, Zeng Chongxin created the "Shangshan Tinghu Tea Salon" to promote Taiwan's high mountain tea culture and enhance the awareness of Taiwanese tea among locals and foreign tourists. cognition.

Looking back at the road of entrepreneurship, Zeng Chongxin said that it is impossible to talk about big changes, but there will be new themes every year, and the layout and dishes will change with the popular changes of the year.
"Last year, camping was very popular, so we adjusted the layout and design accordingly."
In the village, the sound of firecrackers from far and near can be heard endlessly, and the taste of the New Year is getting stronger and stronger.
Zeng Chongxin cleared the dining table, "Do you think there is any real significance to setting off firecrackers? No. However, you will feel that the Chinese New Year is more flavorful with this thing, and without it, it will be less lively and festive."
In Zeng Chongxin's view, the taste of the New Year is the memory of the New Year when he was a child, such as a family having a New Year's Eve dinner around the stove, sharing details of work and life; the sound of firecrackers chasing each other, and the beautiful fireworks blooming in the night sky.
Although with the optimization and adjustment of the new crown epidemic prevention and control measures, the passenger flow during the Spring Festival holiday this year will be even greater, Zeng Chongxin still let his employees go home for the New Year in advance, and is also preparing to give himself a holiday.
