Russian weather forecasters told RT about the upcoming cold snap in the Moscow region.

According to experts, residents of the capital and the region expect a comfortable frost and no precipitation in the form of snow in the next five days.

“Today, for the first time, we moved away from the state of thaw and slush, because the temperature dropped below zero.

And, accordingly, all this snow porridge froze and turned into sleet.

In the following days, the influence of the northwestern wing of the anticyclone of Central Asian origin will provide us with a snowless period for the next five days.

No precipitation, no dangerous phenomena, the clouds will begin to thin out over time and the sun will peep through.

All this will favor the nightly cooling of the air, ”said Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist in the Phobos weather center, in a conversation with RT.

According to him, next night it will be -5…-7 °C in Moscow, -5…-10 °C in the region, -5…-3 °C tomorrow afternoon, 0…-5 °C in the region.

“Next week, the temperature will rush into its climatic channel.

At night -5 ... -10 ° C, by the middle of the week it is even possible -7 ... -12 ° C, and in the daytime -1 ... -6 ° C.

Quite a comfortable invigorating frost without any extreme values, ”the meteorologist added.

In turn, according to the leading meteorologist of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Marina Makarova, rather mild weather is expected.

“The temperature will exceed the norm by an average of three degrees, but nevertheless remain negative.

On Monday night in Moscow -3 °С, in the region up to -8 °С.

During the day in Moscow -1 ... -3 ° С, and in the region -1 ... -6 ° С.

At the same time, there will be light winds and high atmospheric pressure, since the influence of the anticyclone will remain after the weekend.

Mostly without precipitation and it is quite possible that we will see the sun, ”she explained.

However, it will be cooler early next week.

If on Monday in the Moscow region it is expected from -1...-6 °С, then on Tuesday - -2...-4 °С, and at night - -7...-9 °С.

“On Wednesday, the weather will not change significantly, maybe the temperature will be a degree higher,” Makarova added.
