(New Year walks to the grassroots) The "first Spring Festival travel" and "the last Spring Festival travel" of the policemen and apprentices

China News Service, Fuzhou, January 19th (Wu Shengwei, Liu Xiaobin, Dai Junqi) The Spring Festival is approaching, and the streets and alleys of Fuzhou are decorated with lights and festoons, which is particularly festive.

Inside the Fuzhou Railway Station, passengers carrying big and small bags lined up side by side, and embarked on the train to go home for a reunion full of expectations.

Zhang Shaojun is a "post-60s" old marshal from the Marshal Detachment of the Fuzhou Railway Public Security Department.

In his memory, more than a dozen Spring Festivals were spent on trains, with an average of more than 200 days a year on trains.

This year is also the last spring festival he will be on duty.

The K1268 train from Fuzhou to Chongqing North Railway Station has a one-way distance of more than 1971 kilometers, passing through four provinces and one city, and stopping at 15 large and small stations such as Nanchang, Wuchang, and Yichang East.

Zhang Shaojun boarded the train with his apprentice Liu Zipu.

"I'm going to retire in February this year. This is my last spring travel on the job. I must stand on the last shift." Zhang Shaojun said calmly, lowering his head and straightening his dark blue police uniform.

At 8:30 in the morning, more than two hours before the departure of the K1268 train, Zhang Shaojun and Liu Zipu came to the unit to sign in, and carefully prepared for the train to be on duty.

Zhang Shaojun and Liu Zipu are a pair of railway police masters and apprentices in the Police Detachment of the Fuzhou Railway Public Security Department. Although they have just partnered for a short time, they have a strong sense of tacit understanding.

Since joining the police force in 1980, Zhang Shaojun has successively worked in the escort team, patrol team, station police station, and police detachment of the Fuzhou Railway Public Security Department. He has won many honors such as advanced workers, outstanding party members, and individual awards. He is a leader in the police force. A good role model, but also a "good mentor" for young policemen.

Liu Zipu is a "post-00" who will join the police in 2022.

Under the leadership of Zhang Shaojun, he earnestly studied various police skills such as train duty experience, train regulation and law enforcement.

Facing the first Spring Festival travel season of his police career, he is full of curiosity and anticipation.

After receiving the travel equipment and completing the pre-job physical examination and alcohol test, the master and apprentice set off for Fuzhou Railway Station.

As the special train for migrant workers with the largest return passenger flow at Fuzhou Railway Station, during the Spring Festival travel season, the K1268 train is basically operating at full capacity.

Passengers file in as soon as the ticket gates open.

In order to ensure the safety of the train, Zhang Shaojun took Liu Zipu to conduct an all-round inspection of the train before the ticket-checking passengers at the station entered the station to ensure the safety of the train during operation.

At 10:45, the train left Fuzhou Station slowly. After Zhang Shaojun greeted the conductor and inspector to meet, the master and apprentice began to inspect the carriages.

When the two patrolled to compartment 16, an elderly passenger grabbed Zhang Shaojun and asked them for help.

"Old man, what do you need to solve?" Zhang Shaojun stopped and asked the reason carefully.

It turns out that the old man’s surname is Xu, and he is 75 years old this year. He just had an operation due to illness a while ago. Because a relative in his hometown in Sichuan had an accident, he hurried back from Fuzhou to take care of him.

In a hurry, he didn't get a sleeper ticket, so he could only take a hard-seat car.

After a long time, my body began to feel overwhelmed, hoping to make up for a sleeper ticket.

Facing the needs of the old man, Zhang Shaojun immediately found the train conductor, helped the old man make up the sleeper ticket, and helped him settle in the new car.

The number of passengers during the Spring Festival travel has increased, and there are more train stops. Passengers go up and down frequently, which can easily cause passengers to lose valuables, and constant inspections are required.

At every stop, the master and apprentice would rush to the door of the train, constantly reminding and diverting the crowded passengers.

When the train stopped temporarily on the way, passengers Lu and He had a quarrel over placing their luggage and pushed each other, which aroused the surrounding passengers in the same carriage.

After Zhang Shaojun received the alarm from the staff in the car, he immediately took his apprentice to deal with it.

After Zhang Shaojun's patient mediation, explaining the facts and making sense, the conflict finally subsided and the order of the carriage returned to normal.

Zhang Shaojun took this opportunity to teach his disciples a lot of "truths" on mediation.

At 0:47 in the morning, the train left Yichang East Station.

"Night is the time when passengers are most likely to get sleepy, and it is also the time when valuables are most likely to be lost. We need to increase the intensity and frequency of inspections of the carriages during key periods and sections, and remind passengers to take good care of their valuables and take care of themselves child." Zhang Shaojun inspected the carriage while carefully admonishing his disciples.

At 1:30 in the morning, the two masters and apprentices who had been busy all day finally sat down to exchange and summarize the work situation since the departure of the train.

The "baton" of the new and old marshals has completed the handover.

After 26 hours of long-distance travel, the train finally arrived at Chongqing North Railway Station. After the master and apprentice completed the safety inspection of the carriages, they immediately prepared to check in for the K1270 train from Chongqing North to Fuzhou.

Liu Zipu told reporters that the first Spring Festival travel festival was of great significance and he will never forget it.

"Although Master is about to retire, he has passed on his more than 40 years of experience in the police force to me. In the future, I will firmly stand on every post." Liu Zipu said.
