The latest research results have been announced that the average temperature in Greenland since the beginning of the 21st century has been the highest in the past 1000 years due to the effects of global warming.

This research was published in the science magazine "Nature" on the 18th by a research group in Germany and other countries.

The research group analyzed the components of ice mined from central to northern Greenland and investigated changes in temperature going back from 2011 to more than 1,000 years ago.

As a result, the average temperature from 2001 to 2011, which entered the 21st century, was the highest in the past 1,000 years.

Furthermore, according to the research team, the average temperature since the beginning of the 21st century is 1.5 degrees higher than the 20th century, and there was a tendency to increase significantly.

It has been pointed out that if the ice in Greenland melts due to the effects of global warming, the average sea level of the world will rise significantly. It indicates that the ice melts even faster, and the speed at which the ice melts may accelerate further."
