In connection with the jewel theft from the Green Vault in Dresden, police divers searched the Spree again in Berlin.
Some tools were found during the campaign, the Dresden public prosecutor confirmed on Wednesday according to media reports.
At the jewel theft trial on Tuesday, one of the accused testified that he threw burglary tools into the Spree before the crime.
Whether it is actually the parts described remained open at first.
On November 25, 2019, 21 pieces of jewelry with around 4,300 diamonds worth more than 113 million euros were stolen from the historic Green Vault in Dresden's Residenzschloss.
Since January 2022, six men between the ages of 23 and 29 have had to answer to the Dresden Regional Court for serious gang theft and serious arson.
The Spree was searched on Wednesday in the area of the Ruhleben waste-to-energy plant in Berlin, it said.

At the trial before the Dresden Regional Court, three defendants had made confessions.
Police divers had already searched for evidence in the Neukölln shipping canal over the Christmas holidays.
The search was unsuccessful.
Much of the loot, including parts of a sword, had been returned.
