The prevailing strain is still Omicron BA.5.2, and the XBB strain has not been detected in local infected persons.

　　During the Spring Festival, the Guangzhou 120 emergency command system maintains a 24-hour emergency duty, which is used to ensure the transport capacity of no less than 200 ambulances in front of the hospital every day to ensure the smooth operation of the system.

In addition, all districts in Guangzhou have arranged for new crown virus vaccination points to continue to provide vaccination services for citizens.

　　Chen Yanchuan, deputy director of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced that during the Spring Festival, Guangzhou carried out special arrangements for the supply of 8 categories of people's daily necessities, including rice, flour, cooking oil, meat, and vegetables, and prepared goods in advance according to 2-3 times the usual supply. During the festival, more than 5,000 physical stores will remain open, and more than 460 meat and vegetable markets will not be closed to ensure that citizens can purchase daily necessities through multiple channels and more conveniently.
