He opened a "bag" of "McDonald's" meal, and the surprise was shocking

An account holder on the “Tik Tok” application, Jose Vargas, said that he went to a McDonald’s restaurant in the United States to get a quick meal, and he was handed a bag full of cash in addition to the meal he ordered.

According to the New York Post, the video, which has close to a million and a quarter views and nearly 300,000 likes, showed Vargas opening the meal bag and was shocked to find thousands of dollars inside.

Vargas said in the “Tik Tok” video: “What is in this bag?” And when he extended his hand, he found the plastic bag full of money.

"Only a few thousand dollars here," he noted.

"What is this? Why are they doing this?"

"Now I have to return this because I'm a good person, I guess," added Vargas, who did not mention the restaurant's location.

Vargas takes the bag of money back to the restaurant.

When he returned it to the staff inside, he jokingly asked them if they were laundering money.

The crew that worked that day seemed so relieved to have the branch's money back that they gleefully exclaimed "Oh, my God!"

One female employee could even be heard saying that she wanted to hug Vargas and take a picture of him.

"They were all hugging me, thanking me, crying, and rewarding me with free meals from McDonald's for a month," Vargas said to his phone camera when he returned to the car after doing the "good deed."

He also claimed that they gave him a $200 reward.
