On January 17, the Palace Museum's "Cultural History of the Kingdom - Joint Exhibition of Jinshi Culture and Art of Past Dynasties" was officially opened to the public.

With the theme of inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and carrying forward the traditional virtues of China, the exhibition selected 179 important works of Jinshi groups since the Tang Dynasty. The extraordinary achievements made in Confucian classics, historiography, literature, art, etc., as well as the immortal contributions made to the prosperity and development of Chinese civilization.

A Qing Dynasty "Sanjia Chuanlu screen" won a separate booth in the Meridian Gate Exhibition Hall. Reeds and three crabs were carved on the nanmu wooden screen, which is homonymous for "Sanjia Chuanlu"; next to it is a Qing Dynasty "blue and white glaze". The "Red Kuixing Picture Vase" has a picture of Kuixing standing on one foot, taking its meaning of "being the champion".

Among the exhibits are Fan Zhongyan’s original works. His handwritten Daofu Praise Scroll in regular script is a masterpiece in his later years. The calligraphy is clear and thin, and the calligraphy is square and dignified. This cultural relic was donated to the Palace Museum in 1956 by the great collector Zhang Boju and his wife.
