The slogan "Woman, life, freedom" will be displayed this Monday at nightfall on the Eiffel Tower.

The Iron Lady is regularly used for tributes or messages of support.

This Monday, she puts on the colors of the Iranian opposition four months after the death of Masha Amini, 22, arrested by the morality police.

"The Eiffel Tower will display the slogans 'Woman, life, freedom' and '#StopExecutionsInIran' in tribute to those who bravely fight for their freedom while the regime continues to execute demonstrators", announces the city of Paris.

The appearance of the slogans will be from 6:30 p.m.

A rally, in which the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo will participate, will be held on the lower esplanade of the Trocadero gardens.

In October, the city of Paris awarded “posthumous honorary citizenship to Masha Amini”.
