(Brother Wang Fusheng, I will take a family portrait with you, all the people around me and you.)

[Explanation] This is the scene that took place in Xiyuan Village, Leping City, Jiangxi Province on the afternoon of January 14. The 85-year-old Cheng Damei took over from the hands of the volunteers with trembling hands the love of her 70-year-old lover and martyr Wang Fusheng. In the portrait, wrinkled hands are caressing the frame repeatedly, and Wang Fusheng's face is forever frozen in his youthful appearance.

Wang Fusheng is also from Leping, Jiangxi Province. As a soldier of the Chinese People's Volunteers, in 1953, he went to the battlefield of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea with the 120th Division of the 40th Army of the Volunteer Army. Unfortunately, he died at the age of 21.

Sister Cheng's regret all along is that she doesn't have a complete photo with Wang Fusheng.

In 2021, through various searches, Wang Fusheng's nephew and grandnephew learned that Wang Fusheng was buried in Tomb No. 10 of the Kaiyuan Martyrs Cemetery in North Korea. He quickly told Sister Cheng the news.

I told my grandma about this information at the time, and I said that the portrait of my great-grandfather might be delivered to my house on Saturday afternoon, and she said it was great, this is also the honor of our family for generations, and all the family members have to come out to greet him , Those who haven’t come back call to tell them to come back early.

[Explanation] According to reports, the event of sending martyrs home this time is in 2022. Ye Qinghua, a volunteer for the "Portrait of Martyrs" charity event, learned about Cheng Damei's wish to have a family photo on the Internet. After many inquiries, he learned more about Martyr Wang Fusheng After his deeds, he joined forces with the Academy of Fine Arts of Anhui Normal University to paint portraits of martyrs.

After finishing the portrait, Ye Qinghua immediately contacted the martyr's family and delivered the portrait to them.

When I saw the smiles of the family members, when I saw the folks coming out to welcome the martyrs, I felt a kind of satisfaction that I had never had before. This kind of satisfaction made me see that everyone has never forgotten the martyrs.
