[Explanation] Fragments of oracle bones with the word "rabbit", private letters of Han Dynasty border guards, Dunhuang posthumous writings of different periods, Ming and Qing archives showing court life... On January 13, the reporter saw at the National Museum of Classics, " The Four Great Discoveries Exhibition of Ancient Chinese Documents in the Early 20th Century will be launched soon. The exhibition is divided into four topics: "Yin Ruins Oracle Bone", "Juyan Han Bamboo Slips", "Dunhuang Posthumous Documents" and "Ming and Qing Archives".

The preview will begin on the 14th and will be open to the public.

The oracle bone inscriptions of the Yin and Shang Dynasties, the Juyan bamboo slips, the Dunhuang posthumous writings, and the cabinet archives of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are the "four major discoveries" of Chinese academics at the beginning of the last century.

Relevant cultural relics are collected in relevant custodian institutions in various places.

For the first time, this exhibition brings together the four major documents collected in various places, and 249 kinds and 382 precious cultural relics are exhibited together.

In our oracle bone inscriptions, there is a piece of oracle bone called Beitu No. 6006, which records a sacrificial process, and contains written records of the Shang king's lineage, which makes various information about the relatively mysterious Shang Dynasty clearer.

For example, the Juyan Han Bamboo Records are some of the life of the soldiers at that time, some biography, the daily deeds of some small people, and various trade information.

Everyone may know the archives of Ming and Qing Dynasties very well. For example, most of the archives displayed here are secret palace archives, that is, some very important archives that only the emperor or very important historians can see. The fourteenth Baylor has been passed on. The bridge in the movie, we have the original of this exhibit and the secret storage box. In fact, through these two things, we can see whether the bridge in the movie is true. , is it credible.

[Explanation] In addition to the physical display, this exhibition also uses various means such as classics, audio and video, and multimedia to enhance interactivity and experience.

According to Gu Heng, the exhibition covers an area of nearly 3,000 square meters and is the largest exhibition of cultural relics of the "Four Great Discoveries" so far.

It took us about a year and a half to plan this exhibition. The main thing is to store the four types of cultural relics in the cultural relics of the four regions, and conduct a super-large-scale display of cultural relics from four different periods. This is also the first time since the founding of the People's Republic of China that such a large number of different types of cultural relics have been displayed together.

I think this exhibition is of great significance. Like our previous four major archaeological discoveries, it was discovered at the beginning of the 20th century. At this time point, it happened to coincide with the invasion of China by the Eight-Power Allied Forces. The Qing Dynasty was corrupt and incompetent. In this state of decline, the literati at that time, especially giants in the intellectual circles like Wang Guowei, hoped that the discourse power of Sinology would return to the hands of our Chinese nation, so these four discoveries were made at that time. It is very important. It describes the origin of the civilization of our Chinese nation and records the development process of a history of our Chinese nation. It can be displayed in a concentrated manner, so that our audience can understand it systematically in our National Library. The context of the development of a civilization of our Chinese nation plays a decisive role in enhancing our audience's cultural self-confidence and promoting excellent traditional culture.
