Chen Xu said that the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council pays close attention to the impact of the repeated delays of the epidemic and the turbulent situation abroad on the overseas Chinese, and strengthens care, condolences and assistance.

Remote handling of affairs related to overseas Chinese is smoother; we build a platform to optimize services, support overseas Chinese to participate in major national initiatives such as the "Belt and Road" construction, and integrate their own development into the process of Chinese-style modernization; we support overseas Chinese to take root and integrate into the society of the country where they live, Carry out extensive and in-depth cooperation, hold a variety of cultural exchange activities, inherit and carry forward the excellent Chinese culture, promote exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign cultural civilizations, and tighten the bond of friendship between China and foreign countries.
