This event was held for the first time to create an opportunity for families raising children to interact, and 20 groups of babies from 7 months old to 1 year and 2 months old and their guardians from Rifu Town and neighboring cities and towns. The rest participated.



At the beginning, Mayor Kumagai of Rifu Town said, "I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of drama the race will create. Babies grow up so quickly. I want you to refresh yourself from the fatigue of raising children every day."

In the race, the babies crawled on a course of about 3 meters and competed for speed, and the babies were crawling toward their guardians at the goal at the start signal.



Some of the children started crying, some stopped midway through, and some fell asleep, but their parents showed their toys and cheered them on.



And when the baby crossed the finish line, applause was sent, and the venue was wrapped in a warm atmosphere.



A family of an 8-month-old baby living in Rifu said, "I managed to do my best to reach the goal. It was fun because there was a sense of unity at the venue."
