Singer Lee Seung-gi continued his meaningful sharing activities on his birthday.

On the 13th, Lee Seung-gi delivered 550 million won to the Korean Red Cross for the production of a mobile feeding vehicle to support disaster relief activities and a blood donation bus to solve the blood shortage problem.

Lee Seung-gi continues to make donations for neighbors in need through various social organizations including the Korean Red Cross every year.

He has been interested in solving various difficulties in the local community, including emergency relief activities for victims of large-scale forest fires as well as projects to support the underprivileged, such as children whose protection has ended.

Lee Seung-gi, who visited the Korean Red Cross in person, deeply sympathized with the need for a mobile food service vehicle to support rapid disaster relief activities and a blood donation bus to improve blood supply and convenience for blood donors, and decided to donate.

At the delivery ceremony, Shin Hee-young, chairman of the Korean Red Cross Society, awarded Lee Seung-gi, who has been silently participating in social contribution activities as a member of the Red Cross Honors Club (RCHC), a group of major donors of the Korean Red Cross, the 'Red Cross Member Milk Factory's highest honorary captain'.

The highest honorary captain is a commendation given to individuals and organizations that have contributed to the Red Cross's fundraising and humanitarian activities, and have accumulated over 500 million won in donations.

Lee Seung-gi said, "I decided to apply with the hope that warm meals will be a little comfort and strength to victims and relief workers at disaster sites across the country, such as forest fires and floods." I personally confirmed the reality that the blood shortage situation is repeated, and I hope that group blood donation will be activated through the blood donation bus to save precious lives."

Chairman Shin Hee-young said, "Thank you for empathizing with the difficulties of medical and disaster sites and sharing your warm heart. Thanks to Lee Seung-gi's good influence, warm meal support was provided to victims and volunteers at various disaster sites in Korea, and many people enjoyed pleasant and convenient meals. "The Korean Red Cross will continue its humanitarian activities to protect people's lives and deliver hope," he said.

Recently, Lee Seung-gi has been in a dispute with his agency, Hook Entertainment, with which he has been involved for 18 years since his debut, over revenue settlement issues.

Hook Entertainment said that it had deposited 5 billion won in unpaid settlement money to Lee Seung-gi, but Lee Seung-gi said that it would continue the court battle because Hook Entertainment had deposited the amount unilaterally settled.

Lee Seung-gi said he would return all the money he received from Hook Enter to society.

Accordingly, Lee Seung-gi donated 2 billion won to the Seoul National University Children's Hospital on the 29th of last month to improve the treatment environment, and in 15 days, he donated an additional 550 million won through the Korean Red Cross.

He will continue to make steady donations and spread his good influence.
