Haiga Village, where Haiga Primary School is located, is more than 2,600 meters above sea level. It is located in Jiucaiping, the highest peak in Guizhou, and is the highest village in Guizhou.

In 2016, holding a guitar, 28-year-old Gu Ya came to Haiga Primary School and became a rural teacher.

After coming to the school, Gu Ya began to prepare to form a band. In 2018, Haiga Primary School had its first band.

First of all, we have to cultivate dreams. When a child has a dream, I think we should encourage him and then protect his dream.

In fact, what I want to pass on to the children is not the music itself. In fact, it is more through music that the children can first build up their self-confidence, and second, learn to persevere and work hard in the face of the things they choose.
