The story of the grumpy old man who mourns his dead wife is based on Fredrik Backman's book "A man called Ove" which was published in 2012. It became an international bestseller, and the Swedish film adaptation from 2015, starring Rolf Lassgård, was nominated for a Oscars 2017.

In this week's episode of the Carina Bergfeldt talk show, the American actor Tom Hanks is a guest, who explains, among other things, why the character had to change his name from Ove to Otto.

- There was already a fantastic interpretation of Rolf Lassgård as Ove, he says.

"A man called Otto", which has its Swedish cinema premiere on January 13.
