The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has decided to pay a lump sum death benefit to the five men and women who died after being vaccinated with the new coronavirus vaccine, saying that the possibility of death due to vaccination cannot be denied.

Regarding the new coronavirus vaccination, if the government recognizes that a causal relationship cannot be denied for a person who died after being vaccinated, a lump-sum death benefit will be paid based on the Vaccination Act. 15 men and women up to their 90s are allowed.
