Ukrainian Victoria Apanasenko from Chernihiv, who won the Miss Ukraine contest, came to New Orleans to take part in the Miss Universe beauty pageant.

There she took the stage in the form of the Archangel Michael.

Behind her, wide angelic wings opened, and a sword flashed in her hand.

But it was the golden jumpsuit that gleamed most of all, tightly fitting the body under the scraps of a white dress.

It is easy to imagine the brainstorming that preceded the appearance of such a suit.

And, of course, there was one, because Ukraine takes its self-presentation on any global platform very seriously.

So, what to wear to the competition?

In the image of Ukraine, the victim, who was offended by evil Russia?

No no!

The victim of new tanks and money will not be given.

It is necessary to show that Ukraine is still in the resource and can fight.

The image of the victim is swept aside.

Maybe then go in the form of a mother, which is now more suitable for the whole of Ukraine?

What mother does not wait for her warring son alive?

And given the scale of the general mobilization in Ukraine, this country simply cannot but be riddled with women's groans.

But no, the image of a mother is also not good: you can’t remind American donors who call Ukraine “the only country ready to fight Russia for NATO with its people” that Ukrainian consumables also have a mother and she is waiting for her son to go home.

For the same reason, the image of the sister and wife is swept aside.

You can't go on the world stage in this at all.

So where to go?

How to show yourself to the world?

If not a victim and not a mother, then a warrior.

And who is our famous female warrior?

Maid of Orleans - Joan of Arc.

This image simply cannot but come to mind and be considered, at least because of the analogy with the name of the city in which the competition is held.

But here any PR or political strategist who has the slightest idea will say: a Ukrainian woman to go on the world stage in the image of the Maiden of Orleans is, frankly, a bad idea.

Very bad.

Firstly, Europeans really love Jeanne and may not appreciate the use of her image at some, albeit universal, beauty contest, where they defile in swimsuits with heels.

Secondly, Jeanne was modest and clean, she wore a man's suit and did not expose her feminine virtues.

Third, she was a virgin.

And virginity and purity do not fit into the PR strategy of today's Ukraine at all.

Ukraine, on the contrary, is trying to present itself through an attractive, even seductive female image.

And more and more often, the symbol of the country in the latest pictures is a young girl in a national costume, very similar to women from a dating site.

That for a country that sells everything, including the meat and souls of its people, is not at all surprising.

The image of the Archangel Michael becomes a win-win option.

Firstly, the European does not see this as blasphemy: for the most part, he himself has long since abandoned God and his angels.

Secondly, in Europe the trend is to give women male roles and abolish men.

Even if they are archangels.

Even if they are the heads of the holy army of angels and archangels.

Isn't it charming when a woman comes out to the European and American public all in a resource?

Glittering golden thighs.

Dressed in abolished holy robes and at the same time bearing the proud stamp of a girl from a quick and short dating site on her face?

This is really charming, but not in the sense that it is beautiful, but in the fact that one must so directly fall into the charm of oneself in a good way in order to dare to put on wings, take a sword and even touch the image of the Archangel Michael.

But the whole official Ukraine is in charm and demonstrates to the world its spiritual illness, imagining itself as a warrior of light.
