Ezra Miller escaped a lengthy prison sentence following a settlement with the Vermont Attorney's Office.

After being charged with burglary, in which the American film star ("Afterschool") allegedly stole several bottles of alcohol from a neighbor last summer, Miller has now declared himself guilty of trespassing.

Instead of the threat of up to 26 years behind bars, the Bennington County Attorney's Office in return is leaving it with an expected three months in prison, a one-year suspended sentence and a $500 fine.

Miller is 30 years old and has been openly non-binary since 2012, meaning he does not identify with any gender.

The star suffers from mental disorders and was repeatedly noticed during the corona pandemic through insults, abusive behavior towards women and bar fights.

Ezra Miller gained international fame as a superhero in the film "Flash" and through roles in "We Need To Talk About Kevin" and the Harry Potter spin-off "Fantastic Beasts".
