China News Service, January 11. According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, due to the influence of strong cold air and the southern branch trough, from the 11th to the 15th, most parts of my country will successively experience rain, snow and strong winds to cool down.

The cold air mainly affects the northwest region from the 11th to the 12th, and affects the central and eastern regions of my country from the night of the 12th to the 15th; the temperature in most parts of my country will drop by 8-12°C successively, and the Central Meteorological Observatory will continue to issue cold wave blue at 06:00 on January 11th. early warning.

Most parts of my country will experience cold wave, rain and snow

  Affected by the strong cold air and the southern branch trough, from the 11th to the 15th, most parts of my country will successively experience rain, snow and strong winds to cool down.

Among them, the eastern part of Northwest China, North China, most of Northeast China, Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, eastern Southwest China, northern Jiangnan and other places will have light to moderate rain to light to moderate snow or sleet, heavy snow in some areas, local blizzard ; South-central Jiangnan, South China and other places have light to moderate rain, heavy rain in some areas, local heavy rain, and thunder and lightning weather in some areas.

The cold air mainly affects the northwest region from the 11th to the 12th, and affects the central and eastern regions of my country from the night of the 12th to the 15th.

The temperature in most parts of my country will drop by 8-12°C successively. Among them, northern Xinjiang, western Gansu, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Northeast China, eastern Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, northern South China, Guizhou and other places will drop by 14-18°C. Some areas in central and eastern Jilin, Heilongjiang and other places exceed 20°C, accompanied by strong winds of magnitude 4 to 6 and gusts of magnitude 6 to 8, and the wind force in the mountain passes of Xinjiang can reach magnitude 8 to 10 (see Figure 1).

After the cooling, on the morning of the 17th, the minimum temperature line of 0°C will be pressed southward from eastern Yunnan to southern Guizhou, southern Hunan, northern Fujian, and eastern Zhejiang.

  From 08:00 on the 11th to 08:00 on the 13th, the temperature in most of Xinjiang, central and western Gansu, central and southern Ningxia, and most of Inner Mongolia dropped by 6-10°C, and most of northern Xinjiang dropped by 12-18°C, with local areas above 20°C , the above-mentioned areas will have winds of magnitude 4 to 6, gusts of magnitude 7 to 8, and the wind force of mountain passes in Xinjiang can reach magnitude 8 to 10 (see Figure 2).

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue cold wave warning at 06:00 on January 11.

  In addition, from the 11th to the 12th, due to the influence of cold air and strong winds, there were sand or floating dust in parts of eastern and southern Xinjiang, Hexi, Gansu, western Inner Mongolia, and Ningxia.

Specific forecast for the next three days

  From 08:00 on January 11 to 08:00 on January 12, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of northern and western mountainous areas of Xinjiang, western Tibet, northwestern Shanxi, and northwestern Heilongjiang. Among them, Xinjiang along the Tianshan Mountains, Yili Local areas such as river valleys, western mountainous areas, and western Tibet experienced heavy snowfall (10-19 mm).

Most of the Sichuan Basin, most of Jiangnan, most of South China, and the central and eastern parts of Taiwan Island experienced light to moderate rain, and local heavy rain (25-35 mm).

There are winds of magnitude 5 to 7 in parts of northern and eastern Xinjiang, and winds near mountain passes can reach magnitude 8 to 9 (see Figure 3).

  From 08:00 on January 12 to 08:00 on January 13, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of most of Xinjiang, western Tibet, central and western Inner Mongolia, most of Northeast China, northern China, and eastern Gansu. Among them, Xinjiang Local areas such as the west and west of Tibet have snowstorms as large as blizzards (10-12 mm).

There were moderate to heavy rains in parts of the central, eastern and southern parts of Jiangnan, and central South China. Among them, there were local heavy rains (50-70 mm) in northern Guangdong and other places.

There are 4-6 winds in parts of eastern Xinjiang, most of Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, eastern Gansu, western Jilin, and southern Liaoning. Among them, eastern Xinjiang has local 8-9 winds (see Figure 4).

  From 08:00 on January 13 to 08:00 on January 14, there will be light to moderate snow in parts of southern and western Xinjiang, western Tibet, northern Qinghai, central Inner Mongolia, eastern Northwest China, most of North China, northern Huanghuai, and eastern Northeast China Or sleet. Among them, there are local areas such as northwestern Xinjiang, northern Shanxi, western Hebei, and central and southern Inner Mongolia.

There were moderate to heavy rains in parts of southern Huanghuai, western Jianghuai, eastern Jianghan, central and eastern Jiangnan, and northern Guangdong, and local heavy rains (50-60 mm).

There are 4 to 6 winds in most of Inner Mongolia, most of Northeast China, northern Shaanxi, Huanghuai and other places (see Figure 5).
