People's Artist of Russia Veniamin Chebanov dies

This was announced by the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot.

“Veniamin Karpovich Chebanov, People’s Artist of Russia, honorary resident of Novosibirsk, died at the age of 98,” he wrote on Telegram.

Lokot said that Chebanov devoted his work to the patriotic theme.

Earlier it became known that the Honored Artist of Russia Leonid Erman died at the age of 97.
