, Fred Musa decided to lead a radio workshop at the Fleury-Mérogis prison.

For him, these meetings are indeed "means for the detainees to 'free themselves' from their detention and to think about their next course".

"A great insight into what radio is all about"

The facilitator sets up the equipment for the workshop himself: “some of it I was able to recover from Skyrock and another that was bought by the Wake Up Café association, specifies Fred Musa.

It's made of little bits of string, but we still manage to give a good overview of what radio is”.

OUR “PRISON” FILE

The inmates particularly appreciate this workshop, as one of them explains: "what is good is that this initiative creates a certain cohesion between inmates, since we have been led to dialogue, to debate with other prisoners with whom we would not necessarily have spoken, on the promenade or in the building”.
