The government finally ruled out the idea of establishing a day without hunting, but wants to better regulate the practice, with the desire to ban it under the influence of alcohol, to reinforce safety rules and to better inform the public via a smartphone application, according to the plan unveiled on Monday.
The government had raised the idea of a half-day without hunting at the end of October, introduced at local and why not national level, specifying that a ban on Sundays was "not a taboo subject", but this track did not ultimately not retained at the end of the public consultation.
