Musicians from all over the world, well-known domestic singers and Chongqing local artists, through the three movements of "river", "harmony" and "combination", three-dimensionally present the beautiful poetry of the world's great river basins.
According to reports, the gala is one of the main activities of the 13th China Three Gorges International Tourism Festival, hosted by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Committee and the Wanzhou District People's Government of Chongqing.

The theme of this year's gala is "A Community with a Shared Future for Mankind - Mountains and Rivers Interdependence, Shared Destiny", and the creation and performance closely revolves around the civilization of the great river basin, and takes the classic representative songs of the world's great rivers as the main line of singing.
"Originating from the sky, gurgling streams, vast rivers, rivers are the arteries of the earth, nourishing the earth and feeding the people for generations"... That night, the 2022 World Great River Song Festival kicked off with the scene singing "The Call of Life" .

The first movement "River" is composed of female solo "Pokarekare Ana", female trio "Orinoco Flow", chorus "Blue Danube", male quartet "Waves of Heilongjiang" and dance "Land of Passion". Singers from the five continents sang with passion, telling that rivers are the source of life and the fountain of civilization, interweaving into a song of the source of the river that lives on the earth.
In the second movement "Harmony", artists such as He Xige, a well-known national musician, and Shenjun Orchestra, an innovative Chinese orchestra, performed acrobatics "Wind Rises Up the Yangtze River", songs "Spring is Coming", "Valley of Beauty" and "Flying Far Away". "Big Wild Goose", excerpts from the sitcom "Chuanjiang Haozi Qing" and other programs vividly described the wisdom of "harmony without diversity" under the topic of civilization exchanges.
In the third movement "Combination", the song and dance "Together to the Future", the songs "Did Someone Tell You", "The Distance", "Spring Ballet" and "Pursuing" vividly present the diverse forms and integrated development of world civilizations.
It is reported that the World River Song Festival is a shining business card for the integration of Chongqing’s culture and tourism. It is an exploration and practice of Chongqing’s culture and art. Since 2018, it has been successfully held four times on the bank of Pinghu Lake in Wanzhou. The "Stage" network mass cultural brand activity has become a big stage for high-quality cultural tourism brands and artists from all over the world to jointly perform world famous songs and Three Gorges culture.
