British Prince Harry (38) has fallen to a record low in the favor of his compatriots.

64 percent of those surveyed now have a negative opinion of the prince, as the opinion research institute Yougov announced on Monday.

Only a quarter see King Charles III's younger son.

(74) accordingly in a positive light.

In November last year, on the other hand, it was just under 40 percent.

The poll took place on January 5th and 6th, as details from Harry's memoir gradually became public.

His wife Duchess Meghan (41) is even less popular.

Both have continued to slide down the popularity charts since their departure from the royal circle and the public dispute with the other family members.

Even among young people (between 18 and 24 years of age), who have seen Harry and Meghan mostly positively so far, approval has decreased significantly.

But the popularity of the royal family itself does not seem to remain unaffected by the family feud.

According to Yougov, the proportion of people who have a positive image of the monarchy has fallen by 6 percent to 54 percent since last November.

The proportion of opponents of the monarchy, on the other hand, rose from 30 to 35 percent in the same period.
