George Wassouf will appear at the funeral of his son Wadih

The artist, George Wassouf, appeared, receiving condolences for his son Wadih, today, Saturday, in the salon of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, according to Syrian media.

Ali Wassouf seemed deeply affected and saddened by the loss of his eldest son last night, Friday, after he was admitted to the hospital due to the deterioration of his health, and some of the attendees tried to console him.

The family of the Syrian artist, George Wassouf, revealed the details of the date and place of the funeral and condolences of the late Wadih George, who passed away on Friday, after a health problem, for which he was admitted to the hospital.

And the Wassouf family indicated, in a statement, that “the funeral prayer for Wadih will be tomorrow, Sunday, in the Church of St. Nicholas of the Greek Orthodox, then his body will be moved to his hometown of Kafroun, where the incense prayer will be held for his comfort at five o’clock in the afternoon in the Church of Saint Elias, and then he will be buried.” The burial in the family tomb.

The statement pointed out that "condolences will be received in Wadih George Wassouf, starting today, Saturday, in the hall of St. Nicholas Church of the Greek Orthodox in Ashrafieh, starting from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until six o'clock in the evening local time, and tomorrow, Sunday, after the burial in the hall of St. Elias Church in Kafroun until Seven o'clock in the evening."
