He first caused an accident, then he urinated on a bush in front of the police station: A driver chose an unfavorable place for his pee break early on Saturday morning on Autobahn 5 near Darmstadt.
40 minutes earlier, the man had rammed his car into the highway guardrail at the Dossenheim junction near Heidelberg and then left the scene of the accident, the police reported.
Officers sent a patrol in pursuit, but all they had to do was look out the window of their station and arrest the suspect, who was urinating in a bush there.
A breath alcohol test was also carried out on the driver.
The test showed 1.5 per thousand.
