Recently, Zhang Lixia successfully performed a hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy, which is also the first hysteroscopic surgery performed by China-Africa Friendship Hospital in recent years.

　　According to Zhang Lixia, Gbonou Guylaine, a 37-year-old Central African woman, has prolonged menstrual periods and increased menstrual flow for more than 2 years. After several visits to the doctor, her symptoms have not improved.

　　Zhang Lixia performed gynecological color Doppler ultrasound on the patient to suggest the possibility of endometrial polyps, so she immediately formulated a detailed treatment plan for the patient.

Before the operation, she did a lot of preparatory work, consulted relevant information, and formulated an emergency plan for the operation.

China's tertiary hospitals are basically equipped with hysteroscopy equipment and instruments, and district and county secondary hospitals are also equipped with hysteroscopy equipment and instruments, which can complete level 1 and level 2 operations.

In the China-Africa Friendship Hospital, this technology has just started and has not been implemented in recent years. The doctors lack training and the update of relevant knowledge is not enough.
