The municipality of Bonneuil-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) unveiled Monday the results of the "accredited independent laboratory" that it had commissioned to assess the presence of asbestos in the Romain-Rolland elementary school.

At the beginning of November, these reporters had detected the presence of asbestos on the ground and in the air in the room of the masters of the school establishment.
The room was then closed at the request of the town hall, which however denounced an “illegal intrusion” by journalists but also the “non-compliance of the methods used”.
In the process, the City had commissioned an independent laboratory to take new samples.
According to these results, sent to the Regional Health Agency (ARS), there is no asbestos fiber in elementary school.
“I am not surprised, the results of air samples are always negative because below the legal threshold”, reacted a journalist from the show.
Before adding: “There are many asbestos materials”.
