Recently, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage jointly issued the "Notice on Strengthening the Linkage between Time-honored Brands and Historical and Cultural Resources to Promote Brand Consumption" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"). Time-honored brands with good conditions can participate in overseas professional exhibitions, and promote national trendy brands such as time-honored brands to go abroad and go international.

  The "Notice" pointed out that the relics of qualified time-honored brands should be identified and graded in a timely manner, and the level of cultural relics protection of time-honored brands should be improved.

The time-honored enterprises with important cultural relics and the original sites of qualified time-honored business premises shall be legally approved as cultural relics protection units.

Support the protection, repair, revitalization and utilization of time-honored cultural relics protection units, open exhibition halls, experience halls, etc., to maintain and enhance the brand image of time-honored brands.

Repairs, transfers, mortgages, and changes in use of immovable cultural relics shall comply with the relevant provisions of the Law on the Protection of Cultural Relics.

  Inheriting the traditional craftsmanship of time-honored brands.

Strengthen the linkage between the protection of time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritage, support the inclusion of qualified traditional craftsmanship of time-honored brands in the list of representative items of intangible cultural heritage at all levels, and encourage qualified inheritors of time-honored brands to apply for representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage at all levels.

  Support the construction of time-honored theme museums.

Promote the construction of time-honored brand-themed museums, support time-honored brand companies with rich brand history and cultural relics to set up museums, and implement preferential policies such as land and taxation in accordance with the law.

Eligible museums of time-honored brands shall be graded in accordance with laws and regulations, and museums of time-honored brands shall be encouraged to collect material evidence of economic and social development and changes.

  Support qualified urban commercial streets and pedestrian streets to attract time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritage items to settle in and promote group development.

Guide time-honored brands to open flagship stores and specialty stores in tourist attractions, and develop tourism products rich in cultural characteristics and ingenuity in combination with the characteristics of scenic spots.

Incorporate qualified time-honored enterprises, agglomeration areas, and museums into urban and rural tourism planning and tourism routes for overall planning, in-depth development, and key promotion.

  Promote qualified time-honored enterprises to create historical and cultural experience scenes that restore historical scenes and reflect inheritance stories through product guidance, art intervention, space transformation and other means based on existing stores.

Support qualified cultural centers and museums to create time-honored brands and intangible cultural heritage display and experience areas, and carry out cultural communication and experience activities such as cultural display, skill transmission, and hand-made experience for visitors.

  The "Notice" stated that the brand's consumption potential should be continuously stimulated.

Give full play to the role of China International Import Expo, China International Consumer Goods Expo, China International Service Trade Fair and other large-scale exhibition platforms, strengthen exhibitions and sales of time-honored brands, and promote international exchanges and cooperation.

Support qualified time-honored brand enterprises to participate in overseas professional exhibitions, and promote time-honored brands and other national trendy brands to go abroad and go international.

  Organize various consumption promotion activities such as "Honored Brands Carnival" and "Intangible Cultural Heritage Shopping Festival". Scenic spots, communities, and platforms.

Encourage e-commerce platforms to set up time-honored brands and other national trendy brand areas, and make full use of online promotional activities such as the "National Online New Year's Shopping Festival" and "Shuangpin Online Shopping Festival" to drive brand consumption.
