Guest of the program "En aparté" on Canal +, Tuesday January 3, Patrick Sébastien explained that he had stopped sending SMS to Emmanuel Macron.

The former host of the "Greatest Cabaret in the world" has long maintained cordial relations with the President of the Republic.

He exchanged with him to "bring up information from below".

Patrick Sébastien has never hidden being in contact with Emmanuel Macron.

In May 2020, he had thus revealed at the microphone of BFMTV that he exchanged “messages with the president from time to time”.

The host thus wanted to “bring things up”.

“I realize that it is useless”

“I am not a friend, I am not intimate. I have never been to the Elysée! I am not part of the Court, but I try to bring up information from below, discontent. I defended the artists as much as possible because it is not good to be an artist in this climate today", he had assured in

L'heure des pros

on CNews. But, for three years, the wind has turned.

Like many French people, Patrick Sébastien is very disappointed with the head of state.

He did not vote for him in the second round of the last presidential election (note: he voted white).

The host no longer has confidence in Emmanuel Macron, as he revealed on Tuesday January 3 in the program

En aparté

, on Canal +.

"I no longer agree at all, because I don't like all that anymore," he laments.

“I am in the process of detaching myself completely from this political caste. Because I tell myself that it is useless. The SMS that I exchanged were to bring up information from France from below, to say: 'Can we do this?'

And I realize that it is useless because no one listens to us and that I am on the side of those. In this country, there are those who decide and those who suffer.

"Puppets who are only up there for their ego"

Patrick Sébastien, despite his notoriety, believes that he is one of "those who suffer".

"I have so many people around me who suffer, it will have to react at one time or another," he says.

"I'm going to do the precursor again: we need a white, that is to say non-violent, revolution. The majority of this country is made up of good, generous, humanist people who take things in hand and shake up all these puppets who are only up there for their ego".

This is not the first time that Patrick Sébastien has attacked Emmanuel Macron.

At the time of the health crisis, he said he had significant side effects after receiving three doses of the vaccine.

He confided in the show

CNews

, September 30, 2022: "On the night of January 5, I sent an SMS to President Macron: 'just to tell you that after the injections, I who had no pathology before, I found myself with prediabetes, prostatitis, and now kidney cancer."

Then he said: "I no longer have confidence. I just want to alert you because around me the side effects are multiplying".

A text message to which Emmanuel Macron replied, but obviously not in the way that Patrick Sébastien would have liked.

Between the two men, the break is well and truly started.
