A reflex that puts them in danger in the middle of haymaking.

Each year, many animals die crushed by agricultural machinery used to cut and harvest hay.

Fawns are particularly affected by this phenomenon.

In order to avoid this, the farmers had the idea of using a thermal drone to spot them and bring them to safety.

Called "SOS faons", this call for funding was launched on the Helloasso platform.

Thus, €560 have been collected to date out of the €9,000 needed.

A professional remote pilot has already planned to train a municipal councilor from Feucherolles on a voluntary basis, who will carry out research between 5 and 7 am, before the mowing.

Once spotted, the fawns will be taken to the forest for the duration of the operation.
