I look forward to working with readers and friends to gather the power of seeing, to cross the turbulence of time, and to move forward all the way.

Zhang Tiantian (pseudonym) is a graduate student in 2023. This is her second time to take the postgraduate exam.

For a year, she has been preparing for the exam at home, and the "comfortable and warm" company from her family has given her a lot of emotional comfort and emotional nourishment.

The family takes care of each other, and even Tiantian, who rarely cooks, goes to the kitchen and learns to cook hot noodle soup and ginger cola for her mother. This guardianship gives Tiantian a kind of life experience in the "accompanying" of family affection.

This winter, family members, friends, neighbors, and even passers-by who have never met each other warm each other in the company.

Recently, China Youth Daily and China Youth School Media launched a survey "Who will accompany you this winter", and 4,668 young people who attended or graduated from 194 colleges and universities filled out the questionnaire.

According to the survey, 80.23% of the young people interviewed said that recently, they have felt the value of being accompanied by others more and more, and 81.71% of the young people interviewed look forward to being accompanied by others.

Companionship is the warmest confession

In the survey conducted by China Youth School Media, 84.08% of the young people interviewed said that they had received help from others recently.

From whom did the interviewed youth receive help?

According to the survey, the proportion of family members (87.02%), friends (75.71%), classmates (61.42%) and teachers (59.08%) is the highest.

In addition, there are: neighbors (25.17%), colleagues (23.14%), doctors (16.75%), community workers (15.85%), couriers (15.53%), delivery people (14.57%), etc.

Zhang Jingwen is in her senior year this year, and has been staying at school in order to prepare for the postgraduate entrance examination.

What makes her unforgettable is that she once received a message from a teacher of the college, "I think you haven't drunk water all day. When you pass the college building, I will get you some water."

Later, she really saw the teacher on the first floor of the college. The teacher smiled and waved to her, and handed her a bottle of mineral water from the window.

And the teacher brought her a bag of supplies. For a moment, Zhang Jingwen couldn't stop crying—apples, mineral water, disinfectant and two packs of masks were neatly placed in it. "At this moment, I felt the teachers The warmth of being by my side, just like parents.”

The company of friends is also invaluable.

Sophomore Cai Zhiqing’s school released a solicitation event for a psychological microfilm video some time ago. She really wanted to participate, but was a little worried. "It says in the notice that it will take a week to complete the original script."

She wanted to find her friend Xiaoqi to be her partner, but she was afraid that Xiaoqi would refuse because of the heavy learning tasks.

To her delight, Xiaoqi quickly gave her an affirmative answer, and the two hit it off.

Cai Zhiqing poured out her worries, and Xiaoqi smiled and said, "It's okay, you often encounter difficulties when doing meaningful things. Look, now we are the strength of the two of us combined."

According to the survey results of China Youth School Media, 80.23% of the interviewed young people said that they have felt more and more precious in the company of others recently.

Warmth, conveyed in company

Many people who are warmed by others are also passing on the warmth through their own actions.

The specific ways interviewed young people help others include: forwarding and disseminating authoritative epidemic prevention information and life guidelines (65.83%), sharing medicines, food and other necessities (35.95%), forwarding help-seeking information released by help-seekers (35.52%), and serving as volunteers Helping others (31.90%), spontaneously sharing life experience (31.41%), creating heart-warming literary works (29.82%), sharing life experience such as grabbing food strategies (27.89%), etc.

It took less than a year for Baa Baa to be a family member of a patient with bowel cancer who received help, and became a volunteer to answer questions.

The name "baa baa" is her nickname in the patient group as a volunteer, and she passes on remote companionship to strange fellow travelers.

When he first learned that his family members were ill, Baa Baa was in a state of "knowing nothing" about bowel cancer. He joined the patient communication group through Weibo, and Baa Baa bluntly said that he "seems to have grasped a life-saving straw."

In the group, there are administrators who answer questions for patients and their families every day, and some patients share their chemotherapy experience, nursing experience before and after surgery, etc.

Baa Baa is very grateful to these friends who have selflessly provided help.

In her view, the power of companionship is powerful: "In addition to shedding tears, there is so much we can do, and we can also embrace hope through persistence."

In the communication with the patient group, Baa Baa found that many new group friends were the same as himself at the beginning, unable to find clues and ideas.

"I started to try to answer simple questions for everyone and answer some questions within my ability." The "Public Welfare MDT (Multidisciplinary Consultation)" organized by the group gave her the opportunity to become a volunteer. "We organized a total of 5 sessions Many patients came into contact with a high-level diagnosis and treatment team, found the direction of treatment, and most importantly, found the courage to go out and the firm belief in seeking medical treatment, which gave me a special sense of accomplishment."

As a primary school teacher, during the epidemic, Weng Yanhui reminded students to wash their hands frequently and wear masks every day, and shared epidemic prevention and control notices and popular science articles in the parent group.

For Weng Yanhui, who has just worked for more than a year, accompanying students is the core of his work and life.

This semester, he often has to teach online classes. How to keep the students in front of the screen to maintain their attention and really learn knowledge is what Weng Yanhui is most concerned about.

In order to improve students' interest in learning, Weng Yanhui strengthened the frequency of online interaction in the live broadcast class, and specially added links such as guessing riddles and fun answers.

When correcting homework, he always writes a few encouraging comments and adds a few cute emoticons to the students.

"Although the students are online, I hope they can feel the teacher's company with heart and soul."

In the survey, 93.89% of the young people interviewed felt that their relatives and friends needed more company.

At the same time, 81.71% of the young people surveyed look forward to being accompanied.

Forming a teacher-friend relationship with students is Weng Yanhui's New Year's goal.

He felt that the process of accompanying the growth of students also witnessed his own growth.

The microfilm of Cai Zhiqing and Xiaoqi gradually took shape after repeated discussions.

How to interpret the protagonist's childhood, Cai Zhiqing has never found a satisfactory method.

Here, Xiaoqi used his brains and came up with a good idea.

When Cai Zhiqing received the edited film, she found that the childhood photo of the protagonist in the video was a mugshot of her and Xiaoqi, and she yelled excitedly.

Cai Zhiqing said frankly: "If I didn't have the company of my friends, I would probably have given up. It doesn't matter to me whether I won an award in the end. Someone who will always accompany you firmly is a kind of meaning."

2023 is here. For the new year, the key words that the interviewed youth look forward to are: struggle (65.21%), health (62.49%), growth (60.71%), happiness (58.63%), courage (55.08%), breakthrough (53.86%), accompanying (51.74%), etc.

"There are still many uncertainties in the future, but company will bring me a sense of security and give me new courage to face the world."

Zhang Tiantian hopes that there will be more good luck in 2023. She wants to spend more time with her parents in the coming holidays, and feel the beauty and steadiness of life in the three meals a day full of fireworks.
