From May 2023, a night train will run between Brussels (Belgium) and Berlin (Germany), reports

This new night connection is provided by the Belgian-Dutch start-up European Sleeper.

Three round trips per week are scheduled from each city: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday in the Germany-Belgium direction and Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the opposite direction.

Tickets from 50 euros

The first trip will take place on May 25, 2023, with a 10:56 p.m. departure from Berlin and an arrival in Brussels at 9:27 a.m.

The trip in the opposite direction will take place on May 26.

The trains will occasionally make stops in Antwerp, Amsterdam and various German cities.

Future passengers will have the choice between several options: seats at 49 euros, berths from 79 euros and even entire compartments from 109 euros.

European Sleeper aims to connect many European cities in this way.

This new train could eventually connect Prague (Czech Republic) or other major cities in Germany.

In the meantime, the start-up has already announced the arrival of a night train linking Paris to Berlin.

The latter should be launched in December 2023, with one round trip per day.
