The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has revised a ministerial ordinance so that premiums for the national pension can be paid using a smartphone app.



From February, it will be possible to make payments using three apps: au PAY, d payment, and PayPay.



Since non-payment of insurance premiums will affect the amount of pensions received in the future, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare hopes to improve the payment rate by utilizing smartphone apps that are used by the younger generation in their daily lives.
