Commercial dispute with Canal+

But the front page suffered from a commercial dispute with Canal+, the Vivendi subsidiary having stopped broadcasting the TF1 group's channels on these broadcasting channels for two months, for lack of a financial agreement.

Contacted by AFP, the TF1 group stressed that it remained "broad leader in France" and the "first private channel in Europe, both for the general public and" for the commercial targets favored by advertisers.

"TF1 is indeed having its best year for 7 years on the female audience", adds the same source, recalling that a "growing part of the public is now consuming us on MYTF1 which has accumulated 1 billion hours of viewing this year".
