The premiere of the trailer for the film "The Challenge" by Klim Shipenko took place on the network and on TV.

The picture became the first feature film in the world, a significant part of which was filmed in space - Shipenko himself and the lead actress Yulia Peresild flew to the ISS in October 2021 to film the necessary material.

The three-minute "Challenge" commercial generated a lot of discussion and controversy.

Many commentators were delighted with what they saw: they praised the film crew, naturalism, and atmosphere.

“What can I say, now it’s immediately clear that all films about space were previously filmed in pavilions.

The actress and the director are great, very brave, ”said one of the commentators.

“Yes, the episode is a bomb, the realism rolls over, the hair is already on end.

Very much!

The atmosphere of the set is mesmerizing, three minutes seems calm, but the action is creepy!

Thanks for the new experience,” agreed another user.

“Finally, weightless hair looks natural,” wrote another viewer.

Some social media users also remembered how Yulia Peresild was preparing for filming, others took pity on the operator (in the context of filming on the ISS - Klim Shipenko himself): “A year ago, I watched Yulia prepare for the flight, the flight itself and her stay on the ISS.

Now I'm looking forward to the release of the movie.

Julia is smart.

I just want to say - a beauty, an athlete, a Komsomol member.

“I can’t even imagine how hard it was for the operator to work in these conditions.

Tin, ”said one of the spectators.

However, the trailer for "The Challenge" has collected not only positive reviews.

Many commentators expressed dissatisfaction with the plot, criticized the acting and did not forget to count the money spent on the production of the picture.

“Explain to me, please, where did acting go in post-perestroika films?

You watch a TV show from the 1970s, filmed for three kopecks: the actors are trying, you believe in the intonation, the catharsis is on schedule.

You watch a modern blockbuster for millions - rubber dolls speak wooden plastic replicas.

What happened?

Guys, are you okay?"

one of the authors was outraged.

“I have a strange feeling from what I saw,” another user shared his impressions.

- Does not give the impression of real filming in space.

Some kind of picture perfect.

Like in computer graphics.

Yulia has a slightly “plastic” look, a kind of “Barbie space doll” flies around the ISS.

Maybe they overdid the makeup to hide the rush of blood to the head?

Although why, if the main feature of the film is the naturalness of the filming.

“Well, they can’t do anything original,” one of the commentators was indignant.

- From the first minutes of the trailer, it is already clear that there will be a stupid parody of the film "Gravity".

With "Gravity" the new film did not compare except lazy, although the pictures do not have so much in common.

First of all - a bunch of "genre-place", because not many dramas are filmed about events unfolding in space.

On the other hand, the plots of the two films do not overlap, so it would be just as appropriate and "logical" to compare The Defiance to Armageddon or Star Wars.

Shipenko's work is a dramatic story in an unusual setting, but not science fiction.

At the same time, some social media users cannot understand why it was necessary to shoot a picture in space - this question flashes with enviable frequency in the comments under the film trailer.

“Shooted beautifully, but how is it different from filming in a stage with superimposed special effects?

The game was not worth the candle, ”said one of the viewers on YouTube.

The plot of the film "Challenge" revolves around the heroine Yulia Peresild Zhenya, a thoracic surgeon who must urgently prepare for the flight and go to the ISS to perform the most difficult operation on an astronaut who, due to injuries, will not survive the return to Earth.

The actress and director of the film spent four months preparing for the flight to the International Space Station, where they spent 12 days.

Upon returning to Earth, Yulia Peresild told RT about her impressions of working in such unusual conditions.

The world premiere of The Challenge will take place on April 12, 2023.
