The flowers here are exported to more than 50 countries and regions including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia, and 7 out of every 10 flowers circulating in the Chinese market come from here.
"Looking back at the recent flower auction market, supply has increased steadily, prices have gradually risen, and buyers have gradually increased. The market recovery is the most obvious manifestation." Wang Junying, auctioneer of the Auction Department of Kunming Flower Auction Center, introduced that before and after the Spring Festival is a Chinese wedding event. During the peak period, the flower industry will also usher in a peak season.
Judging from market auctions, the prices of flowers in warm colors, especially red and pink, have rebounded significantly.
The price of the more representative Lunar New Year flowers is also picking up, which is reflected in the increase in supply, the attention of buyers, and the explosion of mini-program prices.

The reporter visited the Dounan flower trading market and found that tourists from other provinces have come to buy flowers in the market.
"Recently, it is obvious that there are more people than before." Ms. Xiao, the owner of a Phalaenopsis orchid shop in Dounan Flower Market, said that there were relatively few tourists from other provinces before. With the adjustment of the epidemic prevention policy, foreign buyers and tourists have gradually increased.
Phalaenopsis is one of the main flowers of the Lunar New Year Festival, and its recent sales have been good. It is expected that the market will get better and better as the Spring Festival approaches.
According to the data provided by Kunming Flower Auction Center on December 29, the highest daily supply volume of the week reached 3 million sticks, and the average daily supply volume was around 2.8 million sticks, up 4.6% from last week and 12.33% from the same period last year.
Among the winter flowers this week, the colorful eustoma is very prominent, and the price of high-quality ones reaches 30 yuan (RMB, the same below) per bunch.
Wintersweet, small chrysanthemums, and narcissus lilies with longer flowering periods are also popular in the market.
In addition, pink, red, and retro colors are the main best-selling colors.
Among the multi-headed roses, the multi-headed violet is 7 yuan per branch, the mermaid princess is 6.3 yuan per branch, and the chocolate bubble is 5.2 yuan per branch.
Among the single-headed roses, the most popular varieties are quicksand, lychee, fire bird, and plateau red, with prices ranging from 2 yuan to 4 yuan per branch.
It is expected that the average daily supply will remain at around 3 million sticks next week. As the Spring Festival is approaching, the overall market will show an upward trend.
