Ms. Hudson, in the crime comedy Glass Onion - A Knives Out Mystery you play a former top model who is now mostly active on Instagram and quite dependent on his smartphone.

How do you deal with social media?

If I were to answer now: totally healthy, that probably wouldn't be the truth.

But if I'm honest, Instagram is not just a nice pastime for me, but of course also a business.

Basically, my profile there is like my own magazine that I can curate myself.

If millions of people look at it and follow me, it not only helps me and my projects, it also comes with a certain responsibility.

It is therefore only logical that this takes time.

And I like to invest that, because I can determine my own narrative for it.

If I want to say something or show something about myself, I can do it myself and don't have to rely on other people.

Considering that you call the platform “business”, you surprisingly often give insights into your private life.

Because I also want to be as authentic as possible in a professional context.

Early in my career I was extremely cautious about my life and my children, but it also made me terribly tense and tense.

I'm much more relaxed now, and I'm noticing how good it is for me to just relax and not force myself into some kind of corset.

Since sharing family snaps when I feel like it, I've really felt better.

But that doesn't mean that social networks can't also be problematic.

What exactly do you mean?

Well, it's one thing to present yourself there and make content publicly available.

But it's also no secret that the recipient of this content can become addicted.

You want to own the things you see, the lifestyles that are presented to you.

The algorithms are programmed in such a way that we can hardly help but scroll on and on.

And it's no longer a secret that Instagram and Co promote depression in many people and can even trigger anxiety and other disorders in children.

So one more thing where we have to go into withdrawal from time to time, which is not so uncomplicated if you also use social media professionally.

It is really a challenge to find a good and healthy balance between all these factors.

Coming back to the film, the shooting on a Greek island is said to have had something of a big, fun summer camp.

Is that correct?

Oh yes, we had a lot of fun.

Our ensemble consisted of a group of only nine actors, and we often spent our time together on the weekends, for example playing board games like Mafia.

Suitable for the story of the film, which is also about finding out which of us committed the murder.

Mafia is a game in which everyone is told at the beginning whether they are the perpetrators or victims and then they have to find out who the mafiosi are before they "kill" you.
