The world mourns the death of football's 'eternal king' Pelé

Football has lost its king.

Pelé, Brazilian legend and three-time world champion, died on Thursday at the age of 82.

The announcement of his death has moved several personalities.

France and Paris SG striker Kylian Mbappé stressed that "his legacy will never be forgotten".

Pelé "made football an art," said Neymar, his heir to the Brazilian selection, on Instagram.

Cristiano Ronaldo underlined that Pelé had been "a source of inspiration for millions" of people, "a reference yesterday, today and tomorrow".

“Rest in peace, Pelé,” reacted Lionel Messi.

The Brazilian government has declared three days of national mourning.

Pelé's wake and burial will take place in Santos.



Finistère and Morbihan placed in orange vigilance "rain-flood"

Temporarily heavy rains will fall on Finistère and Morbihan, placed in orange vigilance "rain - flood" this Friday morning.

The alert is set until Saturday midnight.

These rains will be accompanied by strong southwesterly winds as well as strong waves on the coast of southern Finistère and western Morbihan.

As the hours go by, these rains will shift towards the east and will water the regions going from the north of the Loire to the Hauts de France, the Grand-Est and the north of the Alps in the afternoon.

British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood died Thursday at the age of 81, her family announced.

“Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully surrounded by her family in Clapham, south London.

The world needs people like Vivienne to turn things around for the better,” her high fashion brand tweeted.

Irreverent and ultra-politicized, Vivienne Westwood was notably nicknamed “the empress of punk”.

Known for her eccentric creations inspired initially by the BDSM universe, she notably used the catwalks to show her commitment to protecting the environment.
